Also, some tech companies choose to do this with their products. Because they want people in their target market to test it first before everyone else gets access. The thing is, they get feedback from people who are using their products. And then they make sure that these problems are fixed before officially releasing them into the market for everyone else to buy. This way, they will have satisfied customers and more sales!
