  • You must have a market analysis before creating any kind of roadmap. That’s why any company needs to do market research before making any move (whether it’s launching new products or advertising its current ones). 
  • Further, knowing who you’re going after and what they want from you will help you create not just an effective roadmap but an effective strategy as well. 
  • You should include all relevant parties in creating the roadmap. Don’t leave anything out! This includes other departments like sales and engineering. As well as outside agencies like PR firms (depending on how big your company is). When everyone knows what their roles are, they are more likely to cooperate. So, don’t leave anyone out.
